Who are Scouts?

Scouts are young people aged 10½–14 who:

  • Master new skills and try new things
  • Make new friends
  • Have fun and go on adventures, at home and abroad
  • Are curious about the world around them
  • Help others and make a difference, in their local communities and beyond

Every week, our Scouts meet on Mondays, 7:15–8:45pm, to conquer the small task of changing the world.

What do Scouts get up to?

Being a Scout is all about discovering the world on your own terms and making the most of what you have, wherever and whoever you are. Here are just a few of the things our Scouts get up to:

  • Discovering the world
  • Playing games and sports
  • Starting small but thinking big
  • Listening and lending a hand
  • Getting creative

Scouts also spend at least four nights away each year, whether it's a sleepover at the hall or a camping adventure as a section or with our friends in Cubs.
