1Hosting and domain

1.1The Group's website is hosted by Cloudflare. The domain name is registered with Namecheap and renewed annually by the City of Newcastle District.

2.3Review. The Digital Team reviews the website's content regularly and updates it as needed, so that it stays accurate.

2.4Accuracy. While every effort is made to keep the website accurate and up to date, the Group cannot guarantee the accuracy of all its content. Anyone with a question or concern about the content should contact the Group (see 2.8).

2.5Photographs and media. The website may include photographs and media of members of the Group. Where possible, the Group checks each young person's photograph permissions in Online Scout Manager. The Group cannot guarantee that every photograph has been approved by the person in it or their parent or guardian. If a photograph shows a young person against their wishes or their parent or guardian's, please contact the Group straight away.

2.6Removal on request. The Group must remove a photograph or other media within a reasonable time of being asked, whatever the reason for the request and whatever consent was given before. The exceptions are where it is needed for legal or safeguarding purposes, or where it has been used in print and the parent or guardian consented to that use when the photograph was taken or printed.

2.7External links. The website may link to other websites. The Group is not responsible for their content and cannot guarantee its accuracy or reliability. Please read the privacy policy and terms of any external website you visit.
